Translation and Communication

Organisations are increasingly realizing the importance of having their content written and translated into various languages.

At HCR, we can translate and edit the content for your organisation’s Documents, Websites, Social Media and Newsletters.
It’s important that you provide us with detailed information regarding your request:
What is the target audience for the content you wish to translate - general public, clients, suppliers, technicians, internal collaborators, etc.?
What format is the document that you will provide us with - text, spreadsheet, presentation, graphic formats (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), formats specific to your company (xml, xliff, coded txt, etc.)?

What level of service do you require?

Consider whether the language you require varies from country to country - for example, Spanish in Mexico is different to Spanish in Spain, Portuguese in Brazil is different to Portuguese in Portugal, etc.

This approach is crucial for all documents or content that will be read by clients or potential clients.
Companies that invest in internationalizing their information gain an advantage with this important communication tool in international markets.

Complete Translation (TEP)

This service consists of translation by a specialized translator, followed by a revision by a second translator (Editing) and finally, the document receives a final proofread (Proofreading).

Intermediate Translation (TE)

This service consists of translation by a specialized translator and a final revision by a second translator (Translation and Editing).

Basic Translation (T)

This service consists of translation by a specialized translator without any type of revision or checking. *

* Revision (Editing) and checking (Proofreading) services are a crucial addition to the basic translation service (T). We only recommend the basic translation service (T) for internal use within an organisation when it’s more important to get the meaning across in a short timeframe and where high-quality text is not needed. The product of this service level should not be used as final content for any commercial purposes. Some examples of documents that are suitable for Basic Translation (T): Documents to be subsequently worked on by the client, documents for internal meetings, temporary documents (non-final versions), etc.
